You need to keep an eye on your shutter speed; whilst it can be harder on a bridge camera its still possible and you've got ISO control and others to help give you the ability to change the shutter speed and get a good exposure.

The first photo is intollerably soft; whilst at the same time not conveying the motion blur that might be used in a shot using softness to convey motion.
