Last Saturday was my first time taking pictures at the zoo. Lighting at zoos always seems to be tough.

    Here are a few:

    1. Moose

    2. Mother Langur and Baby (I wanted it dark, but is this to dark?)

    3. Flying Fox

    4. Bird

Give me some comments - good or bad!

I like what you wanted to do with no.2, but it's a little bit darker than it should've been in my opinion, I think if you exposed it to get a little bit more details it would have been better. I love no.1, and the last two are nice, and I don't find anything wrong with them.

Number 2 is too dark. If you had not said what it was, I wouldn't have known. The other images all seem to be nicely exposed with sharp focus. I agree with Ottor about the bird - he's cool. ;)

I like these quite a bit, I agree with the others that #2 is a little dark. I think I would like the darkness more if it was a more common subject, such as human mother and child or the like.

I would like to say these shots make me want to go out to the zoo and see what I can get.

    Thanks for the comments!

I like #2 just because it is different, but I do think it is too dark. I'll mark it as a learning experience and get it better if I get another opportunity under similar conditions.

Zoo shooting was chaotic at best. Never taken pictures with so many little kids yelling and pushing. Next time I am going on a weekday.
