Zuma Beach pic. Critique please!!

took this pic not long ago. i wanted people's opinion on it. im not sure about the water wayyy up top but maybe i should crop??

I think a crop might be useful to show more water, but i personally think the watermark gets in the way of the photo.

Not bad but my eye is drawn to the water from the foot steps and then when it gets there all I see is the blown out highlights. I think maybe if the water was gone or you had taken multiple exposures to get both just right it would be amazing! It's hard to see from the size of the pic but maybe a smaller aperture to get more of the pic in focus. Nice shot!

try taking out the water so the subject of the photo stands out more. About 1/2 inch crop on the top and it should look good. Not fan of the sig either, try making one of those "transparent" ones that aren't too visible and plop it in the middle. If someone really wants the photo sigs/watermarks in corners can be cropped out.
