I am a novice and would like some feedback on how I could have improved on this photograph. I used a Canon EOS 500D 55-250mm F4.00 ISO 400. Any helpful advice gratefully received.

I also forgot to mention that I layered this in Paint Shop Pro X2 - Background is black & white, forground coloured.
