Thank you again, Didereaux. It is a shot of my then 2 year old niece, taken about 2ft from where I am currently say.
She loves climbing in my wardrobe to watch her shows on the iPad. I'd been wanting to do a photograph lit solely by the device for some time and this was a golden opportunity.
The wardrobe is where my camera bag normally lives, so I had to drag that out anyway so she could get in. I waited until she was completely engrossed in her shows before taking a series of candid shots.
This was the first one and after the shutter went off, her concentration was broken and the remainder of the shots lacked the same charm. It's one of my favourite shots too and I was fortunate to be awarded first place in the Family Portraits category of Professional Photographer's PPOTY competition last year.
