Been about 3 months since I swung a camera around... so great to get back out there! I enjoy the Wyedean Rally, usually a big field of varied cars and some nice stages. However I have found it difficult to find any really decent corners or scenic views though. Saw plenty of commitment and even...
Appreciate the comments thank you. I have updated my watermark action and tried to not make it so visible. Unfortunately it still needs to be there as it is effective in preventing mis-use - it's a shame but photography forums are high on the list for people looking for a "free" picture. Anyway...
Take onboard about the copyright stuff. The logos at bottom they stay but the COPYRIGHT through middle was distracting - it's meant to be to discourage usage but maybe a bit too far.
Do you think this is any better?
Booked the day off work, paid £15 and ventured up to Silverstone for the F1 Young driver / tyre test. Those who know me know I'm not a fan of the circuit and it's photographic offering. However maybe the sun got to me a bit as I didn't actually think it was that bad  Was also nice to shoot...
Hey... :) Nope that's not me ;)
Good to hear someone else was there, post some of your photos in this thread if you like - I don't mind a thread hijack :-P
To be fair Donington really isn't ideal for photography, so if you got anything you're pleased with then you're doing well :)
I've...
Thanks :)
The downside of a full weekend is that there is quite a few shots to sift through :meh: Still, better than paying and waiting for film to be developed :-P
Got back late last night from a weekend up at Donington Park - British F3, British GT, BELCAR & Support. Very tiring but enjoyable nonetheless. Even though I was signed on I still found the circuit challenging. Quite often a long way from the action and "dodgy" backgrounds are sometimes hard to...
Thanks a lot guys. I'm looking forward to watching the races later today!!! I think British Superbikes are more exciting than the Worlds... they are certainly a little bit faster!
Was at Brands Hatch yesterday for the British Superbike (and Support) practice sessions (day 1 of 3 day weekend). It was actually quite a nice, hot day. Considering it was a practice day I was really suprised how busy it was... people everywhere - and lot of people with beefy cameras! Maybe the...
Yeh it's pretty well known and the drivers seem to like it, particularly the GP circuit. Used to be the Formula One British GP until 1986. I've actually driven around the Indy circuit in an open wheel race car, it's definately good fun - until I went off at Druids!!! Oops :lmao:
That's why I...
Thanks GoM :)
Brands Hatch is pretty good for being "close" to the action plus the infield doesn't have any high fences in the way (yet). I shoot with the Canon 100-400 which is just about long enough, but the fences are still a pain... I have to work around them ;)
Was at a chilly Brands Hatch on Saturday for the start of the new BTCC (and Support) season! Crowds were a little less than I expected but the on-track action was full, particularly the Clio's which had over 50 entries!! Lots of practice and qualifying with 3 races to end the day, Porsche and...
Cheers. A side-on pan isn't too much of a problem but I didn't have a short enough lens on to do one, a rear shot always runs the risk of being sprayed with gravel / mud which I didn't fancy much. I'll probably give it a go next time I do a rally though - good to get a bit of variety.
Cheers
