Experimenting a bit. "wife on a pipe"

Thanks for the input guys. Good points. I was out shooting portraits in midday with harsh sun for a challenge. We just found this pipe down where we were shooting and played around with it a bit. I'll mess with the photo. I did have one speed light on her but with the midday sun I don't think it...

    Moving to part time.

It will be interesting to see the direction the industry heads. I'm sure there will be many changes in the years to come. I do believe adapting to the changes in the market will be key to photographers as it has been in the past. We have moved from a print era to widely digital and social media...

    Moving to part time.

Makes sense. My plan is to have the resources in place before military retirement. My timeline to be fully set up is about 10 years. In the mean time I want to do all I can to get experience and learn while photography is not my income. I've noticed while going to art school that the "starving...

    Recent Adventures!

Awesome work! I haven't done much in the way of wildlife but would like to try it out sometime. Going to be going on a "wildlife safari" trip in a few months. Trying to get what I need. Have a D750 body. Only long lens I have is the Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 vr ii. Was thinking of getting an...

    Help with my upgrade path

D750 w/ nikon 70-200mm f/2.8g VR II AF-S. My favorite set up I have ever used. Very versatile. I even prefer it over my 50mm 1.8 prime for portraits. Just a personal preference.

    Funny Christmas photo

Yes, I noticed that the mirror caught some of the soft box. I'll have to edit it out. Noticed it after I posted. Don't know how I missed it. Was probably to busy laughing at my friend :biglaugh:
