    Lightroom and efficient editing! HELP!

Sounds good. Is your external hard drive portable? Or does it have to be plugged in to work?

    Lightroom and efficient editing! HELP!

The main issue I have with that is when I want to travel I will no longer have access on my laptop to the images I edit on my desktop. This is why I keep my catalog on my external. Do you by any chance know of a solution to this?

    Lightroom and efficient editing! HELP!

Funny you say this because my catalog is almost at 47,000 images. My main hard drive is nearly empty as I like to keep it as free as possible. I have 1tb of flash storage and 923 gb of available space. When I say maxed out I meant to say my computer has every option they offered at the time. Im...

    Lightroom and efficient editing! HELP!

There were about 300 large raw image files out of 500 that I selected to edit from this shoot. I shoot with a Canon 1DX so the files are around 20MB each. So I'm not dealing with nearly as many images at a time. I just see it slowing down to the point that its indefinitely impacting my workflow...

    Lightroom and efficient editing! HELP!

Hey guys, I need help! I use Lightroom to batch edit photos. Im running a year old 5k Mac Desktop with a 1 tb hard drive and it's pretty much maxed out. I do however store all of my raw images and my Lightroom Catalog on my 4TB Seagate external hard drive because I shoot so much my computer...

    Invoice terms and conditions

Hey KmH, Under certain circumstances I have software that produces a license use agreement. These situations are rare with me and the work I have been doing lately. If I shoot a wedding I have a contract and if I sell an image to be used by a large company or printed on a billboard I use...

    Invoice terms and conditions

The work I'm invoicing for isn't something that needs a contract. Like yesterday I invoiced a mag for an image being printed one time. It wasn't an image I'm afraid will be used again or anywhere else so I don't feel a need for a contract. Other things I have been invoicing for are photo...

    Invoice terms and conditions

As of just recently I've been putting a due date of 30 days on their. But It wouldn't hurt to have a T&C giving them an incentive to pay on time. Like a small percentage everyday after 30 days. Your thoughts?

    Invoice terms and conditions

My invoices are really basic for the jobs or images I have trouble getting paid on time for. Every now and then Magazines will contact me and ask for a photo so I ask them their rates and if it's good I just send the file over with an invoice and w9. When the mags or companies pay me there is no...

    Invoice terms and conditions

I'm tired of waiting longer than I should to receive payments. For clients that I photograph I always collect a deposit and the remaining balance the day of the shoot. My main concern is getting paid on time from magazines and companies.

    Invoice terms and conditions

Thanks for the reply! - I invoice for a bunch of different things. Sometimes it might be an image printed in a magazine. Ive been invoicing for production assisting and photographer assisting on ad campaign shoots and my own personal shoots with couples and families but I get paid on the day of...
