I gotta agree with KmH. Not even a RAW file straight SOOC is an accurate representation of reality. Art to me is a way of expressing how you perceive reality through a medium like photography or painting or the written word.

There's no "must have lens" for a wedding other than it having a max aperture of f/2.8 or greater. Depends on your style and if you have a second shooter I guess. I like using primes and moving around a lot so if I had a second shooter I'd prefer a 35mm 1.4 on FF and something like an 85 or 135...
Hey guys. My girlfriend's sister's baby turns one in a few days, so as a gift I offered to take pictures of him, I need the practice. It was a lot of fun, but very challenging, he kept moving a lot and wouldn't look at the camera(he kinda hates me), luckily his mom and aunt where there to help...
You can also try using spot metering and adjusting from there( if you spot meter off the white the camera will try to make it 18% grey, that's how metering works). Turn on the "blinking highlights" feature on your T1i so when reviewing the .jpegs on the LCD the blown out parts blink, the less...
