I was roaming around the back roads where I live taking photos of landscapes, old barns, houses and anything else and discovered a dragonfly got in the picture on this one.
Thanks for the comments. I realized those branches were in the way when I reviewed the image on the camera. I tried to move a little bit to the right to get him again and must have spooked him because he took off. So I got what I got.
Thanks for the comments. I had less than a second at manual focus to get these so they are not as technically correct as they would be had I had more time. I shot off about a dozen shots in just a few seconds while these guys were moving around (quite fast too). The lens was at full 300 mm...
Thanks. Each year we travel from Central Virginia to the Chicago area to visit my MIL. We travel through some interesting territory so I get my wife to drive a while and I hoist the camera and shoot what I can see from the window. I have a few decent shots doing this and it helps pass the time...
