What is the best thumbnail organizer out there?

I have all my photos on 852 CD/DVD Roms (and counting). I have each disk numbered and in disk binders with each sleeve numbered. Now I want to create a thumbnail index. I have tried ThumbsPlus 7, but it is geared more to hard drives. It has a a folder called Offline CD Roms but I could only ever...

    Thumbnail/Contact Sheet Software

I back up my personal data (photos as well as other files) onto CD and DVD Rom. I have recently taken on the task of creating contact sheets for all my CDs and DVDs. I was using Photoshop 7's built in contact sheet maker, but ran into two issues: 1) It tries to make thumbnails of files that...

    How Was This Done?

I understand it's Photoshop, that's why I ask for the specific techniques used. Thanks, Joe http://www.shuttercity.com/ShowGallery.cfm?AcctID=8972

    How Was This Done?

Has anyone seen the cover of the new Weird Al Yankovic CD Straight Out of Linwood? See it here: http://www.weirdal.com/ I realize this is photoart, but I was wondering if anyone could explain in more detail some of the techniques used here. I really like this effect. Thanks, Joe

    Desktop wallpapers?

http://www.google.com and http://www.yahoo.com/ and click on 'Images' link on the main pages and type in 5120x1024 in the Search box. It will return images that meet these dimensions. Try different dimensions.

Mine has that sound, but I can turn that sound off. It is a setting under the main camera menu. If I am out without my camera, I will shoot a basic shot with my phone to see how the composition looks and then come back later with my camera. I actually forund a use for the phone camera. Also...

Also, with everyone having a camera on their cell phone now, I think this is adding to the (pardon my pun) "Photo-sensitivity"

I have attempted to approach people and maybe it is my approach... maybe it is my deodorant... Whatever the case may be, I get blanks stares or looks of incomprehension. That is why I posted here. Maybe someone can help me with my approach. I would ask a caretaker of cemetery as a courtesy, but...

Big Mike, I know what you mean about the airports. I don't think I would even dare show my camera there these days. I think a lot of this suspicion of photographers stems from when Bush first gave his speech about being on the lookout for suspicious activity. I'm not sure, but I think there...

It's interesting to hear that even in Germany, you have similar issues and I like the way you handle it. Maybe I need to add some humor to my responses. Thanks, Joe
