A mirrorless camera that shares its lenses with a DSLR system still has the same size (and weight) lenses with the same focal plane distance. A small body on a large set of lenses, feels unbalanced. With non-EVF mirrorless cameras, the unbalanced feel becomes worse when you are shooting at...
So how many system cameras does Leica sell now?
S, SL, M, T?
That's a lot for a niche company. When I heard about a Leica FF, I was hoping for an evolution of the M system rather than yet another system.
Whatever the case, read the fine print of the agreement and take note the difference between "interest free" and "deferred interest".
I wouldn't recommend it but hey.. its your choice.
My point was they should be questioning whether or not mirrorless meets their needs.... Its not really logical to invest in a mirrorless camera system for the sake of simply using a mirrorless camera.
In my opinion, the Sony DSLRs have a better value proposition than any of the A7* cameras...
If a full frame sensor ends up being a high priority, I don't really see a strong case for the A7 over another full frame sensor DSLR. The size of the Sony FE lenses negates much of the size advantage of going mirrorless. FE lens selection is also limited with the best lenses (Zeiss)...
Looking forward to seeing more about this lens. It is a lot of money but not expensive when you consider what features are being brought to the table and equivalent offerings from Nikon and Canon.
I am fairly happy with my Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8 and 35-100 f/2.8 so I'm really itching to see...
The ONA Bowery has become increasingly popular and is one of my favorite for the small MFT cameras. I have two: blue and brown. Its one of the smallest high quality bags you can find for small cameras.

One holds: Leica M9, 24, 50, 90. Another...
Ok... but this is like a painter choosing between oil and water color and asking for advice on which to use.
So the next question I would ponder...
Have you ever shot with a rangefinder? The experience is quite different from your other choices.
Have you ever considered medium format for...
I agree.... This is a question of film or digital. I like film but the convenience of digital is undeniable. With a busy life, I think I would have boxes upon boxes of undeveloped rolls if it were not for digital.
I've been completely happy with the Olympus 12mm f/2, 25mm f/1.8 and 45mm f/1.8. In addition, the Panasonic 20mm as well as the Olympus 17mm f/1.8
All you need to do now is pick a focal length...
I also have the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8. I found it a bit too big for a daily carry...
My experience with third party batteries is a crap shoot.... almost all have shorter lives... its just a matter of how much shorter.
I would recommend buying a couple BLS and maybe another third party for backup. Probably the best experience I had so far is with Wasabi.
