Hello,
I just joined this forum today in hopes that it will guide me through my photography journey. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I was asked by a friend to shoot her daughter's Sweet 16. My friend knows that I have never shot a big b-day party & had no expectations or questions. I'm a semi-pro but considered myself a newbie because I don't consistently shoot. My question is, how much do I charge? I don't want to undercharge & I don't want to overcharge because of lack of experience & fear of my photos not being 100%.

I just came over here from another forum where even moderators were ripping into minutiae. I literally had a guy that told me he agreed with everything I was writing but didn't like the way I worded it.

So I come over here and you're clearly one of the more prolific and knowledgeable posters here. And I really like your demeanor in your words. It's refreshing.
