(continued from below) I find that on some roll of negatives numbering the scans to match the film strip is time consuming. Some of course can be numbered automatically. One more question: should i be figuring out how to calibrate my scanner. I have done that with my computer monitor. Thanks in advance for you help. Roberta Margolis

Hello: Since you are an archivist I think you may may be able to help me. I just began scanning my own negatives, 35 mm and 2 x 2" with an Epson V550. My question to you is about the workflow numbering the scans when importing them into Lightroom. Setting it up so it is quick and easy to locate the negative in a roll if I need it again.
