I bought the D7500.. liked it ..but now getting the D500.. how are you

thinking of getting the Nikon D7500.. my d7100 flash is not working at all.. it sounded like a short..pop pop.. will send it to nikon to fix if not to pricey.. but in the meantime i am thinking about purchasing the d7500.. i posted here to ask about it.. but then i also wanted to ask you..thanks
