Do you think this devalues photography?

Very cute, I prefer these type of family shots to traditional portraits. However, in the first one I'd like to see more of the family than their butts :))
The posing looks a little unnatural. I missed the previous threads, so I don't know what this event is, but next time try to talk to your model to get to know them a little and you will see how it reflects on your shots. Usually the model looks a lot more relaxed and natural.

Thanks for your replies!
ICP charges $300 for 1 day course, seems too pricey. Has anyone taken a course at Cooper Union school? http://cooperunion.augusoft.net/index.cfm?fuseaction=1013&courseid=45&categoryid=2&subcategoryid=4&catalogid
Feedback appriciated,

Hello,
I'm new here. Can someone recommend a good photography course in NYC? I'm not looking for a degree in photography, just a short course to cover technical basics of using a digital SLR camera. I don't want to do online course.
Thank you!
