I have inherited a large Nikon lens. About 500mm in length, this extends to about 650mm. I know I must use it on M outside of that, I am jiggered. Whenever I manage to get the moon in the viewfinder, the merest speck of wind makes it shake so that the moon flits past the vf and bounces back. It...
I see that you have not paid attention to my explanation of how I gathered these images. Disrespectful to the dog? Wow, that is a very strange comment, laughable really. Do I have to go about deleting things that I might be disrespectful to? Jeez, I am struggling with this. I have shown that...
Here is a better image with one mouth shape.- flat mouth.
Thanks to everyone who suggested stuff.
I do have some Wallace and Grommit animation stuff, Newplast the medium, plus loads of mouthparts. Different mouth shapes make different words according to the order they are used, not in the...
Good thought. Strangely enough, I have been outside in the sun with Macro, taking photos of my Fuchsias and get real great results. Now I have gone tiny, indoor, with appropriate (methinks) lighting, my Legoâ„¢ characters really need to pull themselves together.

I have a few, not many photos that I really like. I think they just landed on me, unplanned, I looked back at them and thought wow. Please take a look. I think all these were taken with a little point and click.
This was the estuary that leads to Porthmadog in North Wales. I saw this hanging...
Hmm, I see the Author's question and I don't think anyone, bar suggesting to leave it to his descendants to sort out, has answered it. I think he is not asking how he should have catalogued and directed his collection as he collected it. Answers seem to be on a horse has bolted basis, like me, I...
I am attempting Stop motion animation. Using a Macro lens I find it difficult to focus on the small Legoâ„¢ figures I want to use. They are very rough, but just using the 18-55 kit lens with a Macro lens added to my Nikon D5300 I get strange results, too dark, out of focus? Curiously enough, when...
