My husband (Jim) and I just came home and found HUGE bear tracks in the snow around our house. The bear had knocked down the shepherd's pole that held the bird feeders and opened up our garbage. I took photos of the tracks and the pole which I'll upload after dinner. I THOUGHT BEARS HIBERNATED...

Just a quick edit. I adjusted using Levels, burned the background, and dodged her face a bit, as well as burned his forearm a tad and cropped it to get rid of the huge expanse of background. It's not a perfect edit, just one to give you an idea. :)

I think you are oversharpening the eyes, making them look more like fake glass eyes, than natural organic ones. I like your second version of #1, the one where you didn't get rid of the wrinkles, much better.
