Its a dwarf cousin of the dolphin :)
just kiddin, its a very common lizard in the medeterannean region (latin name 'Agama stellio') it is about 30cm (1 foot) long mature male i found on the beach.
In such cases try increasing the ISO until you can get atleast 1/80 on a 5.6 otherwise you'll have DOF problems especially with tiny things like that (looks no bigger then 1-1.5cm...)
This is a chameleon. the latin name is "Chamaeleo Chamaeleo" if i'm not mistaken. A very common lizard in the israeli area. Should grow upto 1 foot in length but even when reaching maturity it is still a cutie!
