1st newborn session Please C&C (heavy pics)

I personally like newborn sessions to totally focus on the tiny fingers, wrinkles, and skin. You did that somewhat, but take it a little farther next time. Not bad for a first newborn shoot, we all have different opinions, but I like to use props for newborns, such as baskets :)

    Self portraits (C&C)

I totally agree that self portraits are a great way to practice. Done a few myself. So many different opinions here.

Redneck modeling part 2 lol CC

You know what, never mind that. I guess it depends on what portrait, background, props you are using as to what angle you should choose. I personally think all portraits taken straight on would be boring, but we all have our opinions. Not these I have posted, but for future reference. Like...

Redneck modeling part 2 lol CC

Oh, the only thing I find confusing is in previous portraits I have posted, I have been told not to take them straight on, was even told to put them up. Which one is it?

Just had a chance to log back on. Busy week. I read ALL of your CC, and rather than reply to each one, Thank you!! I know these 2 people and borrowed them for practice. Flashfill, framing, angles, posing, and more practice with the speed lite. Already replied to the sharpening earlier, if...

Redneck modeling part 2 lol CC

I use NR becuse it seems to cause noise, like I notice white spots in the hair. I took this one RAW of hubby and my son....it turned out sharper.

Redneck modeling part 2 lol CC

I do sharpen them, but when i go to reduce luminace noise, it's like it takes it back to not being as sharp. I them upload then to PS for final touches. Like, you can't get rid of blemishes on DPP.

Also, since I started shooting RAW, I don't seem to be getting the sharpness as jpeg?? I use DPP to convert RAW files.

Got some great advice yesterday, I already know I needed flashfill, sharpness...maybe some ideas on posing? Your critique will help me for more modeling sessions I have coming up. THANK YOU...

    redneck modeling C&C

I'm shocked, guessing she looks so young, but a grown woman. Removing them now. Once again, apologies, didn't mean to offend ANYONE at all. This doesn't mean I still don't photo kids, families, etc. I got invited to photo some models at a small local modeling agency....and this is what they...

A few of my friend kids C&C

LOL....I can't believe you thought the model was 12 in my other photos. Maybe that will change your "personal reasons." :)

YES, you are WAY off on her age.....look above...I revealed her age. I also have photos of her 1 year old daughter.

    redneck modeling C&C

Ok, I was going to keep you guessing on her age. She is 20, a mom, and did you know the 2 people didn't know each other until 10 minutes before i started snapping shots? i am friends with her whole family and her mom loved the photos of her.....she is not 12!!!
