Jaomul, thanks for the reply. Do you think the 14-140 lens on G7 would be as versatile as the the FZ1000 fixed lens (obviously apart from the 6x zoom difference which is manageable).

Hi, I am planning to buy a camera for normal usage like travel photos (and occasional vidoes but primarily for photos) etc which includes portraits, scenery, city-scape, night/party photography. I was wondering if I should go for FZ1000 or the mirrorless DMC-G7 with 14-140 mm lens. Thanks!!
