Yup, I used it on a friend's Canon Rebel something or other
It just has the pin in the middle, so it doesn't meter since it's a manual flash, and works on most (to my knowledge) Canon SLR's and Nikon SLR's, it probably works on everything, but that's all I've ever used it on.
Thanks! Yea, I was trying to make them pop out a bit, but I think the ISO range of the D80 got to the shots a bit and I dunno... I'll hopefully be able to tone the ISO range down next time!

I use my cactus modified sender/receiver, i've had my two flashes about 450 feet away firing 100% ;)
you have a quality camera body, don't use cheap glass just to "afford it"
if you have a low budget look at decent primes (35mm, 50mm, 180mm etc...)
