A few pictures from the Coeur d' Alene River. C&C welcome

Overall, you have provided a nice look into the surroundings up there. Idaho is a beautiful place. The first shot.....I like the pano crop and the conversion, but for me the strip of bright snow in the foreground should be cropped as well. The second shot.....I think it would have been...

    ..:: Red Hills (6 Photo Panorama) ::..

This is tremendous. Sharp as a tack throughout and the contrasts and composition are very pleasing to the eye. Nicely done.

    The Freeze Over

This is interesting and I like the mood, but I also think it's rather chaotic.

    Before the storm.

Love the comps, the tonal combinations, and the exposures are spot on. It would be nice to see a bit more contrast to get those colors to pop, but it's nice as is too because it's kind of moody for the storm brewing. Also, the lower shot....which I love the birds perched and the ocean...

Getting Descent Sunset Pics w/ P&S

sami, not sure this is the right forum section for this question. Essentially, you can get some decent sunset shots from p&s. The drawbacks of the smaller sensor in them include limited dynamic range, noise from low light, etc. (so I recommend you step up and get an entry level DSLR), but that...

    Early Morning Glow

If it were me I would crop out the upper portion of the scene. The cloud in the upper right is interesting, but out of focus.

    The sunset/sunrise thread

Always a small world it seems. I used to live not far from Ft. Lauderdale.....Delray Beach. Let's keep this going......A few from a reservoir not far from my home:

Fall Colors in Rocky Mountain National Park

Hi Steven. I like the perspective. The exposure looks spot on. I think it needs more contrast to make the colors pop, and it looks a little soft on my monitor. If it were me, I would have tried to get the pixel ratio closer to 3/2 instead of 2/1. The vertical comp works well, but it would be...

There goes the sun. C&C Wanted.

I like the second one too. The first one has some very nice elements.....but I would have been tempted to have a little less of that bald sky at the top. They both work well as is, though.

    Tyaughton lake B.C.

Looks like a beautiful place. I like the ridgelines of the mountains and their effect on the scene. The composition is okay, though I would prefer more lake and less (of this) foreground. But I think the most glaring issue here is the tilted horizon. It needs a pretty radical CW tilt. Also, the...

    Desert C&C

Hey Jeremy....nice location. Like the petrified tree.....though I wonder if getting closer to the tree itself might have been more effective. Also, there is some distinct vignetting in the upper and lower right corners. It's a very clean looking image, though it could be a bit sharper on the...

    Crimea, Ukraine

Those clouds are wild....almost a bit too chaotic, but certainly dynamic.

Remnants of a Hurricane came in at Flagler Beach

These are all very nice with excellent exposure....though #2 could use a slight CW tilt.
