We had a triple concert at our school last fall. These are a few of my favorites from the night. Most of them are black and white because I wasn't too impressed with the lighting that night. Please let me know what you think and as always, comments and critique are very welcome. Check out my...
I just realized that there are two or three other threads similar to this one. Sorry for the repitition...and thanks for your suggestions. I downloaded all three to test them out. Now if I could find time to use them...
Looking for some noise reduction software. A friend recommended Neat Image 6.0 which works pretty well (if I could get it to save in the correct format...though that might be a limitation of the trial version I'm using). Has anybody else used this or another noise reduction program they've been...
Good to know. Of course I've still got my D300 if I want to get better shots, but I've been wanting a P&S for a while now. I get sick of taking my D300 with me every time I want to get pictures. I'm grateful, of course, but sometimes it's just plain inconvenient.
Or is that just a subtle plug to get us to say, NO, wait, I really wanted it!! ;-) Just kidding. I seriously would have bought this lens if it weren't for the fact that I'm living off student loans and still trying to pay for a wedding. I've used this one before and it definitely is a lot of fun.
Yes it would! I borrowed one from a friend of mine for an Anberlin/Taking Back Sunday/All American Rejects concert that I was able to go backstage for. 80% of my shots were with this lens. I want to get it for myself so bad.
I'm posting this for a friend who's looking to get a bit of a deal on a D300. New or barely used is good. If it has any significant use, he's not interested. If you want to sell it with some accessories, let me know what they are; he'll probably take them, too. Thanks in advance.
I didn't have much of a choice in terms of shooting towards the light. It was a small stage. Usually the lights aren't facing me directly when I shoot a concert. It was difficult figuring out how to pull off the shot at first but in the end I decided on this "style" of exposure (or whatever you...
That's rather disappointing. I thought these were pretty good. What would make them stand out to you more? I ask this sincerely. I've got a big concert coming up (All American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, and Anberlin all in the same show) and I want to know what I can do to make these better.
