my aunt shoots a Nikon D40. She pretty much always uses the auto settings (Auto or P, rarely A or T, never ever M). I would like to get her a birthday present, which is going to be a little fatter than usual because of all the help she's giving to my family.
My pick would be a D3200...
When I have time to look for the right setting, I use manual. However, when I have a flash on camera and another one in my left hand and I take photos of people at parties or similar, I do like TTL.
OK, so, on the surface it is fairly easy: flash in my left hand TTL, no comp. Flash on camera...
I heard it's pretty rare that an indoor dracena makes flowers... So I tried to take a photo of it.
Comments very welcome! (including the very basic ones, as I hardly ever shot flowers before today)

After seeing cgipson1's edits to my theater photos, I realized that I'm far from familiar with Lightroom.

However, when I take...
I mean "action photography" - sports, birds, etc... whatever moves fast shot by non-professional photographers
I say this because:

I'm learning how to use Adobe LightRoom, mostly because ViewNX was making me want to stop taking photos. LightRoom is another World! I love photography again!
I understand that, in order to store the files, you have three options:
1) Develop, export, keep the TIFF (or JPEG) and delete...
