......but I thought the dead trees "sectioned" the peaks well, and the dark spindly forms add some contrast to the white snow and clouds. Do you think this shot would have been better without them?
Another shot to convince abraxas it's worth a trip to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park....if you look closely you can see the trail in the right center portion of the sunhit area. Notice the climber above the top of the trail and to the right.....really gives some scale!

Not the typical mountain grandeur....but I found this peaceful evening scene along the now ice free Fall River quite appealing. I chose a somewhat longer shutter speed to slow the pace of the water to suit the mood I thought it conveyed. Thanks for looking.
