    Be Different.

It's only the second time I've seen one do this and it amazes me every time. I think he secretly wanted to be a Blue Angel. Be Different by Light Artisan Photography, on Flickr

    Well do ya?

Terrible shot, poor composition, distractions, you name it... but sometimes you just have to take the shot.

    D300s vs D40 and D40 w/70-200 Mounted

    I have to say, having the 70-200 on the D40 was kind of neat - however I didn't feel comfortable holding it by the camera body. The D40 felt like an accessory to the 70-200  D300s w/Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 and D40 w/Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 D40 w/Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 D40 w/Sigma 18-50 f/2.8...

Canon G9/G10/G11 Users: Do you use a hotshoe flash?

Just wondering how many of you use an external flash on your G9/G10/G11 body, and if you do - which one? I'm a Nikon DSLR shooter, but like the G11 for a compact setup. I was looking for a flash similar to the Nikon SB400 (bounce capable) but having trouble finding anything small like that with...

    Panic Mode!

I forgot my camera at home today and all I have with me is my camera phone, what once in a lifetime opportunity is going to present itself!? UFO? 6 legged deer? Lamborghini with a 6" lift? I feel sick. I may have to run to Best Buy and get a Canon S90, or D3000, I'm freaking out...

Being a guest of course I couldn't use flash, but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out based on having to sit, etc. D300s / Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 1600 ISO Minimal processing, just adjusted white balance, exposure and a little crop here and there - no noise reduction applied yet.

Trying my hand at a website.

Although I'm not new to creating websites I've been somewhat at a loss of how to handle one for displaying my photography. I'm not pro, I guess I consider myself a recreational photographer and just enjoy it. Anyway, there's not much for content yet but I figured I'd get a general feel...

'Schools' While It's Hot - Anyone willing to do a strobist class?

If so, count me in - I suck at it and would love to learn some techniques and most importantly how to put it all together so I can finally understand the reasoning behind the madness. :)
