I have a d3 and a d7000 and an ewa marine...
I love my D7000. Not only are the photos superb, but the video is so awesome as well. My D3 has been neglected lately due to my new D7000....

I am selling a MINT condition Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8 fisheye. This lens has barely been used and was always kept in a pouch inside of a pelican case....

I loved my sb800 more than the sb 600 until it died. :(
I would go with the 100 2.0. There isn't a point to buying the macro 2.8.
a more "professional" camera? Go d200.
yes they are. I have two. I mostly use the 1510 and I love it!!
do you only have one flash?
I've stopped motion indoors with my d300 at 1/125.
OP, Dont skimp on glass.
Even if he does have a d40 now. Buying this Nikon Af-s now and saving a little longer for the D7000 is still a smarter...
With out at doubt go for the Af-s. If you can find it hop on it. The af-d doesnt hold a candle to the AF-s.
The risk of one of those sigmas...
