for me it looks like the whole of her head has been pasted on from another shot also the rope is distracting and the metal rod growing from her...
looks like a good day out at Duxford to me :)
it works at drawing the eye but once draw there is nothing of interest on the horizon.
seems to be one of those frames full of nothing that seems to work :)

I think the head and shoulders crop works best :)
the dull/grey sky really doesn't help this one and like you say the building in the background is distracting.
I love the feel of this one just don't like the headlights which run from the middle out to the right, the pavement/grass in the foreground are...
glad to see it's sparked discussion, all the non photography and dog people who see it love it, me and Lisa love it cos it captures Pip playing...
I'd "clone" him out of the shot then :wink:
I'd try just losing the guy at the right in front of the fire truck lessensing the height maybe giving impressing of the car having leapt towards...
no crop involved the shot is as the camera recorded the moment no cropping no photoshop trickery just point and shoot no fiddling with settings...
wot speed film you using, who is doing the processing?

metroshane your right the shot was grabbed very quickly in Program mode so the camera controlled everything bar the composition. LaFoto...
me Dad took me there in bout 1979!!!! I bet it ain't changed much.
