    Planes

    - I seem to share your passion for aviation though not for the chosen rendition. I would like to present suggestions but on the RAW files.

    A Diver and a Gentleman

    - An official portrait in his new uniform was needed: "I'm going to bring my diploma and the portait to my parents next weekend and I hope to make them proud!" In this family, all men are rescue divers since WWI and no generation was omitted.

How do you calibrate a light meter?

    - Calibration is not relevant in this but proper referencing is. As mentioned, that is done using an 18% grey card.

    The Boxer

    - Yes, it looks like boxing, Jeff, but it is in fact preening and it is not a muskrat but a nutria — much bigger.

HELP: Aperture goes wide open when camera just turned on, but aperture read out is different (F11)

    - When the combo is turned on, the lens always open fully and will remain opened until triggered, only then will it close to set ƒ stop very briefly. Again, I don't use your kind of gear, Maybe the RFM strategy would apply to answer your doubts. How long have you had it?

HELP: Aperture goes wide open when camera just turned on, but aperture read out is different (F11)

    - Since I have no personal experience with your type of gear, I'm afraid I can't help you much not having it in my hands. :icon_neutral:

HELP: Aperture goes wide open when camera just turned on, but aperture read out is different (F11)

Sorry… shutter release. It will close to your set ƒ stop — given not defective — for a very short but adequate period of time.

HELP: Aperture goes wide open when camera just turned on, but aperture read out is different (F11)

    - Even on manual and a set ƒ8, it will always open fully to close back at SR.
