Yes! A fantastic lens! Smaller, lighter and every bit as sharp as the f/2.8 version. And the VR works exceptionally well.

I agree. The f/4 version is fairly compact and light. My “walk-around” glass is my 24-120.

I’m really liking the Nikon 16-85 VR on my D90, and the Nikon 24-120 f/4 VR on my D750.
Interesting. When I spoke with McCurry, he told me that he used the 105 f/2.5 glass for the Afghan Girl image.
