lumix dmcfz20 help

Hello folks, I got this camera around 2004 and used the absolute hell out it. Recently, someone asked me to shoot a little wedding and I got it out and the camera can no longer read the photo card. Everything else seems to work. My question is: can this be fixed and is it worth fixing it...
