phone camera

This is my first time giving photography a go, and I feel like it's okay, but I wanted to know if there's anything I can do better because I'm not the most happy with it, any advice?

Hi I have a Samsung phone and I noticed that, even increasing the shutter time to 10 seconds, the image on the screen gets updated at ca. 2 Hz. I would like this refresh rate to slow down (so to see more light before taking a picture for example). Any idea? Thanks
