I'm a little past due for the introduction but here it goes.
I took graphic design classes my whole High School career. In my school if you take 2 years of Graphic Art's they let you take a black and white photography course. I decided I had two years of Graphic Art's, I might as well see what it can do for me. I picked up my first slr, a ricoh kr-5, and began shooting. I fell in love with the fact that I could apply intellegence to get a great picture. Pointing and shooting is great, but if you can use Focal Length, Aperture, angles of strobes and other such things, you can express yourself even greater. I learn something new everyday and it just keeps getting better.
I had a canon xti for a while but I sold it to pay off some debts. I'm currently trying to get back to that or even a 40d if at all possible.
Until then, I'll keep shooting with my ricoh
I haven't managed to be organized with my digital negatives either, they've been through several wipes and do not exist anymore.
I hope to learn and give back to the community.
