While playing a challenge game here, one catagory being "books", I pulled out my old 1875 Encyclopedia's and photographed them. I decided to open one to take a photo of it and there was this maple leaf pressed inside of it. I do not know the age of this leaf, but my neighbor who was 95 yrs old at the time, gave me these books 5 years ago. I just thought this was soooo cool, so I wanted to share:

BY REQUEST, HERE IS ONE IN SEPIA:

That's great Sara! I would suggest a plain black border though, but that's just me. Also, have you tried sepia?

Critique, huh?
Well fine then: Use a higer F number so the entire leaf is in focus, and add a bit of contrast and sharpening in PS. Critique over.

The sepia tone and black border look great! Nice surprise finding the leaf. Definitely a story there....

Great work. :)

I like the sepia image the best. Looks cool.

I think this is an awesome story to go along w/ the shots. It's not everyday this happens. I like the sepia the best.
