1st Lightpainting Attempt - excavator at night

so I've done this one yesterday night.
It's my 1st lightpainting attempt and it's made of 7 pictures (with different exposure).

I never tried stacking exposures before, is it a pain in the ass? do you use photoshop?

It was my first time too, and I was very surprised how easy it is. Yes i used photoshop. You should check some tutorials on YouTube/google.

just curious on this photo, why did you need 7 exposures? would 2 have worked?

I didn't changed the exposure time on every shot. But I highlighted different things with the flashlight. It's like in this video, but not that professional Painting With Light: AirstreamTrailer - YouTube
