1st official post!

Hi all. I'm just getting started and am having a hard time pacing myself. I have 2 little ones at home and am due with #3 in February. I grew up around photography but when my husband bought me a D40 back in May, my interest has multiplied many times over. I want to learn, learn, learn but I need to be careful not to get carried away right now.

I have a dream of photographing labor and deliveries in the future but love taking pictures of people in more natural settings. I need lots of encouragement and honest feedback with my pictures.

Looking forward to learning and maybe even someday encouraging other new aspiring photographers.
