1st portrait try

hey guys, it's been a long time since i posted something.
here are my recent photoes and the 1st try at portrait shots.
what do you think?

I like the second one.. The first one is good, but the person sitting on the left is a little distracting to me...

Agree with what Holly said. Really like the second one, but the first one doesn't focus on the subject enough for me. Maybe something as simple as getting in closer would have made a big improvement...just a thought.
