Nice shots, I would have just taken out the plug/wire coming out of the 12v socket on the right.

There is a lot more detail in this shot (Shadow highlight tool) but, depending on what this is for, these are certainly dramatic shots.

I would favor #2 as being nmore of a 'complete' shot.
