1) I have a Metz flash: 45 CT-1 and a Hasselblad 500c
and a Sekonic L-358 light meter and I need a sync cord to connect them
all so I can get a reading off the flash...what sync cord would you
recommend?

and 2) with I the 45-CT 1 Flash and I want to buy a diffuser for it...something like a soft box as I am a baby & child photographer and want something that will be soft and bright. What would you suggest?

Thanks so much for your time!

If you try the Metz site you will find that they do 5 different synch cords for connection to a camera. The same lead will plug in to the Sekonic.
I have three cords, including the very long one - which is best for connection to the meter.
Metz used to do a clip on soft box but it was discontinued about 25 years ago. There are third party ones around but those I've seen are tacky.
I use the bounce board diffuser (Mecabounce). I've used it professionally for portraits on location for... a very long time. I have the 65 CT-1 and slave head.
