2 Self portrait's portraits 7 years apart

Hello Everyone

The 2 self portraits below are 7 years apart (the one from 2004 was shot 7 years to the day Jan 19 2004).
Anyone else every do this?

It could be a cool project to start, I m sure I m not the first to think of it though. Any self portraits out there? I'd love to see !

Yeah there was a guy who took the his self-portrait every day, same light, same pose, for I think 50+ years. I'll dig up his name.

i really like the lighting on the first one. looks sweet.

I am currently trying this as my 52 week project... not daily though.

After seeing the clip, it would be pretty cool if you did this with one of your kids. Doing it as an adult you really dont change that much but with a kid you could watch the transformation of growing.

Wow that Youtube video is cool, really makes you think of the scope of what can be done with such a project.

My friend Alexandra is doing a daily self portrait on her blog (NSFW a few nudes) her goal is to get to a full year.
