Im looking at buying a crappy fisheye off ebay for £25. i know it probably wont be up to an amazing standard, but hey, im a student and im skint.

The thing thats got me baffled, is the whole ".22x" & ".44x" thing.
Ive no idea what this is about.
Im guessin its the curve on the lens?

Basically, im looking to broaden my bmx & live music photography. i know every kid out there shoots music, im just lookin for a style to set me apart.

Yeh, please help, lookin to order one soon.
And i know you get what you pay for! So im not expecting much!

Cheers.

actually i think .22 is wider, because i have a .45 wide angle and fisheyes and wide angles are alike so lower the number the wider it is.

its not exactly a lens, but a filter of sorts. the .22x and .44x refers to the multiplier. for example, if you put the .44x on a 50mm lens, your new focal length is 50 x.44 = 22mm

on the same note, youll have to make sure the filter size of the filter is the same as the lens youll put it on

yup and youre right, you get what you pay for. i hear theyre not the best, but its a starting point.

have fun with your camera equipment
