#8 is brutal! The fence, the sad expression, I feel bad for the animal behind that fence. Excellent capture of emotion.

Other standouts to me are #1 and #6. #2, I think that's the one of the flamingos, would have been top-notch with a bit more DoF to get the other flamingo in focus. If there'd been a background that wasn't black, your current DoF would have been best, but I think since the background is black, it'd be better if the subjects were both in-focus. Other than that slight nitpick, awesome, awesome series. Top-notch work.

Finally someone with suggestions. I like knowing what could be improved. I made it shallower DOF to put the focus on the one in front, but now that you mentioned it I guess it would better if they were both in focus. Next time I go I'll try some slightly deeper DOF.
