Just thought I would share these pics. The last three are me playing around with my new lens attachment. The first two are random shots with my R1... Teen age golf course loiterers and my pup Nina (on a very bright day).

Your thoughts?

1) ISO160 1/640 f/4.8 68.1mm

MACROs with the Raynox 250D lens

5) ISO160 1/1000 f/8 71.5mm

Thanks for lookin :-D

Bumping and removing the poorer pics. What do you guys think of the two pics above? One "Potrait" one macro.

Both are super sharp, and I really like the fluffiness of the goose chicks.
Also DOF and focus are perfect in the flower pic, no doubt.

Both pics are so very, very sharp.

So you think a pass with PhotoShop's Smart Sharp would be too much?

Glad you like it.... I am loving this new camera...and I am finally getting to learn its subtleties...

These macro are tough though...I have to fix the manual focus on the minimum setting and take several snaps each time while moving the camera ever so slightly. I usually get to keep one out of every 5 because the DoF is soo shallow with the Raynox...doesn't help that the subjects are so small.

Thanks for the compliments!
