i was gonna go tonight but apparently nobody wants to be with me tonight... not even my brother lol

but ill proably end up seing it tomorrow during the day or next thursday

Yeah, I've seen it.

It was certainly cool to watch--as I'm sure you've seen in the commercials, the movie has a particular look which is hard for me to describe...almost like HDR with a yellowish/brown tint. The effects were also very good, adding to the gore-factor (it is VERY bloody, with limbs and bodies flying all over the place).

As a story-telling device, though, I thought the movie was average. It was definitely based more off of the comic book than history.

I don't want to get this thread locked by discussing politics, but I wonder how current events affected the making of this movie--you know, the good guys fighting for freedom against the evil, heathen Persians.

That's my 2 cents, anyway.

I saw it on friday and I LOVED the look of it. I'm a big film guy and I have never seen anything like it before. The film making was amazing.
