Hey guys! I currently have the "nifty fifty" (50mm f/1.8 ) for my T3i, and was wondering if I should sell it and upgrade to the f1.4, or keep it and spen some money on the 28mm f/2.8 for video. Thoughts? Is the f/1.4 worth the upgrade, or should I just keep my f/1.8 and get the 28mm?

I find the 50/1.4 to be an upgrade. But I also can't stand the bokeh rendering of the 50/1.8. I don't shoot a lot of video, but I do use FF bodies, so the 50mm focal length is more widely usable than on a crop frame. Would you not use the 50/1.4 for video? Is there a particular reason you want the 28mm for shooting video?

I would use the 50/1.4 for video. I would also use the 24 for vlog-type videos.
