A Couple of the Water

I purchased my 40D yesterday (my first DSLR ), and so far I have taken a couple hundred pictures! Here are some of the water from yesterday (they are PP'd a couple different ways).



Powerlines (and mabye over saturation) ruin it, but this is the edge of the water

A house on the mountainside

Santa Monica Pier (it gets foggy at night)

Sunset and PCH (again, foggy)

Maybe this should be in the General Gallery?

yea i wanted to try to get the sun in my picture (i'm suprised the boat came out exposed properly)

btw am i over sharpening my images?
