A Day in the World

I was just reading the latest edition of popular photography, the editor's letter this month talks about a world wide photo project called A Day in the World. On May 15th they are wanting everyone to take pics of what is happening in the world, daily life, and upload them to the site. They will be publishing a book of the images in october and doing numerous galleries around the globe.

I think this is a great idea. it gives people the chance to see what is actually going on rather than only seeing the dark side of civilization that the media covers.

just wanted to share this with everyone. looking forward to seeing some great shots!
