Back living on the farm with my parents for a while, not really any shortage of wildlife out here, but it's not exactly exotic. Anyway here are a few shots:

1) Portrait of a sheep. 135mm, f2.8

2) A fantail - a native New Zealand bird. They are quite friendly because they eat bugs and so they will hang around people who disturb the bugs for them to eat. It wasn't too hard to get close enough to get this shot with a 70-200 (cropped somewhat).

3) Sheep shearing - This old guy comes and shears our sheep for us every few months so I setup a remote flash behind him for a bit of a rimlight and snapped this. 17mm.

4) Chickens grazing. Again I set up a remote flash for this shot above and behind the chickens. I was hoping they would kick up some dust but it was too windy and they didn't seem overly hungry so I might try this one again. Also wish I had a slightly larger DOF to get the front chicken more in focus. 30mm, 1.8
