I like the style of these photos but they lack sharpness.

I like #4 and #6 the best. =) But all except #6 seem.. faded.

Neat stuff. Never seen anything like this before. Is this something that is done every halloween time?

Yeah it is. from what I understand it is done every year either on Halloween or a couple nights b4. I plan on going back next year to try again. This was the first time I'd ever tried anything at night.

I expect the originals are a little clearer - am I right in thinking you used a film scanner? (looked at the EXIF info)...
